Petroleum products are all obtainable components of crude oil fraction which depends on the me. method of distillation These products range from methane to asphalt. They include both hydrocarbon and product containing other elements. The percentage of the elements is given below:
Liquefied petroleum product (LPG): these categories are normally gases. They are length hydrocarbon and are condensed to liquid state. They include: propane, propylene, n-butane, butylenes; with a trace of ethane, ethylene, pentane, pentene. LPGs can also be extracted natural gas.
Naphtha: this is found under the temperature of gasoline. It has many components. These components on the used (link) and conversion process. Naphtha can be of hydrocarbon and individual component types. In hydrocarbon types includes; olefins, paraffin, naphthalene and aromatics.
Kerosene: this distillate is obtained by straight run distillation. A specified composition of paraffin is required to ensure normal burning. On cracking of kerosene is many hydrocarbon and non hydrocarbon compounds.
Lubricating oil: this includes; paraffin, ceresin, petroleum and many more.
Miscellaneous petroleum products: it is comprises of greases, bitumen, cake and many more. Unlock this exclusive content by using one of the sharing buttons below.
