MULTIPLE RECRUITMENT FOR THE POST OF A RECEIVING CLERK

Receiving clerks work in warehouses or other facilities where they receive, inspect and transfer deliveries. As a receiving clerk, you will be responsible for loading and unloading shipments for tracking incoming deliveries and troubleshooting order issues with suppliers.

JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Receive and unload packages from incoming shipments
  • Handle and document invoices
  • Open boxes and inspect content of shipments
  • Organize and store received supplies in appropriate areas
  • Reject damaged items, record shortages and correspond with shipper to rectify damages
  • Verify packages according to order and invoices
  • Update the product inventory as products are received
  • Maintain accurate records and assist in inventory control
  • Maintain inventory of shipping material and supplies
  • Addresses and answers customer inquiries about shipment
  • Operate machinery to move and convey material
  • Maintain work area and equipment in a clean and orderly conditions and follow safety regulations

JOB SKILLS AND REQUIREMENT

  • High school diploma or equivalent qualification
  • Physical stamina
  • Good attention to details
  • Excellent communication skills and Organizational skills
  • Basic math skills
  • Previous warehouse experience
  • Ability to lift at least 4 pounds unassisted
  • Time management skills
  • Computer skills and knowledge of data entry
  • Previous warehouse experience
